Our RNA Branch this year attended the Remembrance Sunday Parade in Leeds City Centre. The chairman and secretary / standard bearer along with shipmates Anne Steele and Eileen Marshall attended and took part in the parade.
It was a bitterly cold November morning but several thousand members of the public watched serving personnel and the Armed Forces Veterans march through the city followed by the laying of the wreaths at the cenotaph.
It was a day for the nation to remember and honour those who have sacrificed themselves to secure and protect our freedom.
Following the service all the armed forces personnel along with the veterans were invited back to the Civic hall for some refreshments.
